Abstract

This article presents a research about the implementation of a change in the evaluation process in a private school in the city of Novo Hamburgo (RS): the test by area of knowledge. Evaluation is the subject of many debates and critical analyzes in contemporary education, mainly through the research of Philippe Perrenoud and José Gimeno Sacristán. The methodological processes of this research are configured from semi-structured interviews and observations from the teachers’ planning meetings, tensioning how the teaching practice of teachers in the humanities area was constituted in the process of implementing the change of the evaluation process, from the construction a web of knowledge, the didactic sequence and the area test. This movement presented a significant approximation between the teaching practice, instigating the teachers to reconfigure their practice, until then individual, for a collective and partnership look with the colleagues of the knowledge area
