Abstract

This article operates at the friction between art, literature and education. Under the horizon of photoperformance, books are mobilized as subversive political bodies in a research practice that destabilizes disciplinary framing. The theoretical-methodological framework articulates literature out of itself, by Natália Brizuela, infrareadings and diabolic criticism by Patrícia Lino, in dialogue with Roland Barthes’ punctum. It is concluded that the literary object and teaching practice can cease to function as utilitarian forms and become event, image and gesture. Photoperforming books in school spaces constitutes an act of poetic insurgency, capable of erasing institutional and disciplinary boundaries and opening thought to the unpredictable, to laughter and irony, in the invention of other ways of researching, reading and educating.
