Altair Martins and the creating process: an essai about lucidity

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to analyze the literary thoughts over the writer Altair Martins’ creating process through his statements in some interviews. Furthermore, it was possible to support in the concatenation of what the author said he has done what the manuscripts can demonstrate in the “A Parede no Escuro” novel’s constitution. Thus, it was also used authors that, in the same way, reflected on the process itself and wrote about their impressions and findings, helping in this analysis.

Author Biography

Joseane Camargo, PUCRS

Mestre pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul em Teoria da Literatura. Em sua dissertação pesquisou o devir literário de um texto ainda inédito de Moacyr Scliar, intitulado Memórias do Astuto Dentista. Graduada em Letras Licenciatura Português - Literaturas de Língua Portuguesa pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Tem experiência na área de Letras, com ênfase em Teoria e Análise Linguística e em Literatura Brasileira, com pesquisa em Crítica Genética. Na sua monografia de conclusão de curso estudou o processo criativo do escritor Altair Martins no seu romance A Parede no Escuro. Trabalhou no tombamento do acervo do escritor Caio Fernando Abreu e na organização do acervo do escritor Moacyr Scliar no Delfos situado na Biblioteca Central da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS).
