Abstract

A negative humor seems to mark the analyzes of contemporary thinkers. We can cite at random Debord and Baudrillard. Even the most optimistic thinkers do not escape: in these cases, a positive diagnosis of our (next) future coexists with a negative apprehension of our present. It is from this situation that Maffesoli gains its value, because there is in his thinking a base affectivity of markedly positive, cheerful, affirmative tone.
