[RETRACTED ARTICLE] Interfaces, intermodality and media interactions of the sanctuaries of Fátima, Guadalupe and Aparecida on the web 2.0
Abstract
[RETRACTED ARTICLE]
Revista Famecos's Editorial Board has decided, after juridical and merit analysis, and based on the actual law, to proceed with the formal removal of the following work: Interfaces, Intermodalities and mediatic interactions of sanctuaries of Fatima, Guadalupe and Aparecida in the Web 2.0 (Interfaces, intermodalidades e interações midiáticas dos santuários de Fátima, Guadalupe e Aparecida na Web 2.0), published in volume 21, number 3, p. 997-1015, 2014, of Revista Famecos, presented by the researcher José Cláudio Alves de Oliveira. It has come to the attention of the Editorial Board that the article presents an integral reproduction of the "Final Considerations" ("Considerações Finais") of another article, entitled "Interactions in catholic online rituals: an analysis of religious practice in times of Internet" (”Interacoes em rituais online católicos: uma análise da prática religiosa em tempos de internet"), presented at the New Technologies and Sociability Symposium: social media, knowledge and representations, in Salvador, Bahia, on October 13th to 14th, 2011, authored by the researcher Móises Sbardelotto, at the time with a masters degree in Communications from Vale do Rio dos Sinos University (Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos).
Revista Famecos is technologically able to identify non-original work, as it has a team fully committed to academic integrity and the defense of authorship in intellectual thinking, to the appreciation of theoretical works and the defense of transparent and just processes of evaluation amongst publications that prime for academic quality. That said, it is not the case that every infringement in originality can be processed or identified by specific computer programs designed for the publication of scientific publications. For that, we always count on the cooperation of the academic community to assure the zeal needed by our publications.
