Keywords:
variação linguística, linguística contrastiva, ensino-aprendizagemAbstract
This article aims to retrieve, in the text of the author Miriam Lemle, entitled Dialectal Heterogeneity: a call to research, the questions of linguistic variation, re-signifying them, from a practical activity and based on the current processes of variation, much Influenced by globalization and the advent of the Internet. The idea is to show how the method of contrastive linguistics, used in teaching-learning L2, can be useful in the teaching of mother tongue, as proposed by Lemle. The article shows, therefore, the development, in class, of an activity applied in a group of Education for Youths and Adults, in which the method already mentioned is used, seeking the students' reflection on the need to consider Linguistic adequacy rather than the notions of "right" and "wrong" with regard to the use of language. Finally, it presents a reflection on this activity, without aiming to point out results, but rather to share an educational experience that can help, mainly, the teacher, in the task of teaching through a perspective based on Applied Linguistics
