El artículo estudia el crecimiento de tendencias autoritarias en el contexto de las revoluciones rusas y el socialismo soviético. Luego de un período de transición, entre octubre de 1917 y julio de 1918, tales tendencias se consolidarían durante las guerras civiles, entre 1918 y 1921, consideradas como una revolución en la revolución, consumando un ciclo autoritario, verdadera cuna del socialismo soviético. El comunismo de guerra y la incorporación de una perspectiva nacionalista serían también aspectos integrales de las guerras civiles, transformando el sentido del ciclo democrático (revoluciones de 1905 y 1917 - febrero y octubre), re
