A divisão do Brasil em 1534-36: uma nova hipótese

Resumen

This study explaines why the early administrative division of Brazil must be different from the usual cartographic representation, and suggests how the problem can be solved. The new hypothesis gives also a few hints in attempt to explain the facts that led to the foundation of Brazil.
