This article aims to discuss the connections between sports and cinema in Juan Peron’s Argentina (1946-1955), considering that one of its characteristics was a heavy governmental effort in political propaganda, which embraced the mobilization of certain cultural practices as a means of divulging values and behaviors acceptable to the ideology which was meant to be implemented.Downloads
