Abstract

This article analyzes the Brazilian procedures regarding the “cuestion española” at the UN, debates about the international situation of General Franco’s regime between 1946 and 1950. We intend to demonstrate how international interests, especially regarding the relationships with the USA, determined the position of the Brazilian government concerning the "cuestion española".
