Latin-American international relations: historiographies and theories

Abstract

This article intends to establish a historic and theoretical discussion about the concept of Latin America, with the purpose of analyzing the limits and possibilities of its application in scientific and political fields, taking into account the international relations in the region, as well as its insertion in the global system.
