This paper analyzes the relationship between entrepreneurs and the State in the installation of ALPAT, producer of sodium carbonate. After thirty years, the State decided to install the plant in the 1970s; the project was declined due to its instability from an institutional point of view, its economic limitations and entrepreneurs who used the National State as a source for their profits.Downloads
