The Cuban Revolution according the the Argentinian "La Naciona" newspaper: euphoria, deception, condemnations (1959-1962)

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the different positions adopted by “La Nación” newspaper on the Cuban revolutionary process. The newspaper, which was an exponent of one lines of thought liberal-conservative, played an important role when evaluating the news arrived from La Habana. However, the tone of the journalistic speech was not lineal, passing in little time from the euphoria to the condemnation of the Cuban process.
