Abstract

EI humanista mexicano AlfonsoReyes fue en dos ocasiones (1930-36, 1938-39) embajador de su pais en el Brasil, donde hizo numerosas amistades que dieron lugar a una interesante relación cultural. En este trabajo se estudia Ia que mantuvo con Cecília Meireles, através de Ias cartas de Ia autora brasileíia que se conservan en México.
