The use of journalistic source in historiographical work: the case of Contestado

The present article establishes a discussion about the use of journalistic resources in the historical research. Through examples of Contestado Movement it intends to offer methodological contributions to a convenient use of this material, talking about theoretical considerations by recent cultural history.
