Imigração portuguesa, política e cotidiano no Rio de Janeiro do início do século XIX

Abstract

This text shows the portuguese government immigration politics to Rio de Janeiro since the end of the XVIII century. It also reveals the importance of the portuguese working population in the city in the beginnings of the XIX century.
