The industrial expansion after 1930 and the transformations in the labor force, the new relations between State and the emergent syndicalism, influenced the formation of a new Uruguayan working class in the 1940's. The macro-structural perspective of analysis will be combined with the exposition of iuncture influentes in the new design of the social and political alliances.
