Commercial aviation in South America: a comparative study between the German and North American influence in the region (1919-1945)

The present study focuses on the development of aviation in South America between 1919 and 1945. The disputes among the powers for the opening of new markets and areas of political and cultural influence have marked this period. The article proposes a comparative study between the creation of air companies with German and North-American influence as a form of penetration in the continent.
