In the nets of Justice: Crime, color and social status in the Del-Rei villages

Abstract

The aim of this article is to mention, through the analysis of criminal reports, the relation between color and social conditions as diacritical elements present in the identity configuration in daily relationship between slaves and afro-descendants in villages of Minas Gerais — Brazil.
