I intend to show some reflections about the thought of Eduardo Prado concerning the national identity, and how the author understands and constructs the relation between constitutive outside and transitive inside in the case of Brazilian national identity, which involves in his thought, ways to think not just a Brazilian identity, but also an American and an European identity.
