The article analyses the different lines of Cultural Visual that operate in art education in Brazil classifying them like visual vulture excludente, visual culture includente and visual counter-culture. The article examines theories and approaches to the cultural studies and visuals cultures and visual cultures practiced in Brazil, from the decade of 30, designating like precursors Gilberto Freyre, Cecília Meireles, Aloísio Magalhães, Alcides da Rocha Miranda, the Escolinha de Arte de São, the Winter Festival of Campos de Jordão of 1983, the interrelation of the Communication and of the Art/Education in the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo and the planning of exhibitions about Visual Culture of the people in the MAC-USP in the decades of 80 and 90 years.Downloads
