Education as a social plasma
Keywords:
education, critique of culture, allegory of the cave, social plasmaAbstract
This article discusses the condition and the possibility of the educational process in modern day society. Through the recognition of theoretical inadequacy, semantic dispersion, and lack of pragmatics in the traditional concept of the educational process, the author, after undertaking a radical critique of culture (of present consumer society), proposes a new way of understanding the process of education, reinterpreting Plato’s allegory of the cave, and introducing the concept of social plasma.Downloads
