Abstract

This article analyzes youngsters life histories who came out of the socioeducational rule system, studying in their relation with the marginalization and overcoming processes. It seeks to understand: Who are those youngsters? What are their expectations regarding school? In which ways the schools relates to them? What does the family represent in their lives? How it occurs their relationhip with the precarized labor? Which factors according to the youngsters are responsible or not for their lives reconstruction? The article suggests given the research data utilized, the need of public policies related to youngsters that come out of the socioeducative rule system as well as the importance that of the socioeducative approach be priorized in relation to the correctional-repressive approach in the aplication of the measures.
