(Re)Discussing the action of the state in the formulation and implementation of educational policies
Keywords:
Políticas educacionais, Estado e capitalismo, regulação e educação, políticas públicasAbstract
Based on a historical analysis of the state’s role in implementing social policies, the text considers the relationship between changes in capitalism and public policies, the origins of social policies and the role of the state in formulating educational policies. It then discusses the tension between the poles of regulation and emancipation, presents alternative experiences in the formulation of public policies and suggests possibilities for the reconfiguration and rebalancing of these poles.Downloads
