Abstract

The end of the 20th century was characterized by quick and deep changes, impacting social life and bringing new guidelines for higher education. In a globalized and education based society cooperation between universities and the productive sector is an ever growing needed task. Universities find themselves under pressure with a variety of possible futures. There is a combination of forces and processes, coming from different sources that have been impacting the university dynamics.
