Teaching and learning: the undergraduate during teaching activity

This study aims to refl ect on the initial formation of teachers based on Leontiev’s Theory of Activity. As a starting point it presents an article elaborated by a female academic trainee for the Pedagogy Course discipline named ‘Teaching Practice – the initial grades of the fundamental education’, whose theme is originated from the trainee’s impressions as a learner. Motivated by her teaching experience she felt the need of refl ecting on her own formation process, revealing how much teaching became an activity for her. In the present paper her concerns and learning experiences are shared with her adviser in order to identify the elements responsible for the arising of the teachers formation movement.
