Abstract

To understand the motivations that led to the inclusion of the term entrepreneurship in Brazilian educational policies, interviews were carried out in 2021 with two educators who actively participated in this formulation process. Katia Smole acted as Secretary of Basic Education of the Ministry of Education at the time of publication of Ordinance nº 1.432/2018. Eduardo Deschamps, at the same time, was chairman of the BNCC Commission at the National Education Council – CNE. The main objective of the interviews was to understand how the theme of entrepreneurship was perceived by the actors involved in the construction of these regulations.

Roselaine Monteiro Moraes, SEBRAE RS e Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, RS, Brasil.

PhD student in Education, Master in Educational Management, Specialist in Cooperation Network Management and Bachelor in Administration. She is State Manager of Entrepreneurial Education and Territorial Development Projects at SEBRAE/RS. She has experience as an instructor and consultant for micro and small companies. He carried out business diagnoses, courses and lectures in the areas of entrepreneurship and management. Participates as an evaluator of Innovation Projects in schools, in addition to giving lectures on the subject of Entrepreneurial Education and BNCC.

Gustavo de Lima Cezário, SEBRAE Nacional, Brasília, DF, Brasil.

Master in International Relations from the University of Brasília, Specialist in Public Policies and
Government Management by FGV. He works as an institutional advisor for Sebrae Nacional. Experience also as Executive Director of the National Confederation of Municipalities (CNM) and Executive Secretary of the Latin American Federation of Cities, Municipalities and Associations (FLACMA).

Adriana Justin Cerveira Kampff, Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, RS, Brasil.

PhD in Information Technology in Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Vice-Rector of Undergraduate Studies and Continuing Education at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). Professor and researcher of the Postgraduate Programs in Education and Science and Mathematics Education at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS).
