Abstract

O texto faz uma reflexão sobre o sistema social democrático e as respon-sabilidades educacionais das Universidades e dos educadores, contexto no qual situa a contribuição da educação marista. Como modelo inspirador para aqueles que estão em busca de um “porquê” e “para quê” viver, surge a figura de Marcelino Champagnat, educador e apóstolo da juventude, a partir do qual se abrem perspectivas para os novos tempos.

ABSTRACT – The present text reflects both upon the democratic social system as well as upon the educational responsibilities of universities and educators, context where the Marist education gives its contribution. Considered an inspiration model for all those who seek life’s reason and purposes, Marcelino Champagnat, youth’s educa-tor and apostle, appears as a leader to open new perspectives for our days.
