Keywords:
ABSTRACT – Statements of two female elementary-school teachers who work with those students are examined, considering the categories stated on the Glat and Mül-ler’s investigation (1999), which shows the representations of Special Education and the role of teachers working with disabled students. Conclusions are that, although educational modalities are diverse, the feelings caused by both different students among the teachers are very similar, as they come from the search of alternatives to understand singularities.
Descriptors – Special Education; teachers’ training; high abilities/giftedness.
