The author begins with a viewpoint of the present state of political democracy in many so-called advanced countries and the existent fragility regarding the experience of human rights. Following, the author presents and analyses some notions of democracy, placing emphasis on deliberative and communicative democracy, as well as to the conception of democracy as human rights. Based on this frame work, this paper’s last topic focuses on democracy in schools and the main guidelines for human rights education.Downloads
