Teaching and learning in the entertainment society: challenges for teacher training

This article aims to discuss and question the learning of young people in society of entertainment as well as analyze the possible challenges for teacher education in a society mediated by digital technology of information and communication (TDIC). The centrality of leisure and entertainment in contemporary life reconfigures the teaching strategies and learning school. However, the school, for being the place of tradition and systematic learning, finds it difficult to face this problem, since there are obstacles to higher initial teacher training, in a perspective of incorporating different language media in this process. Finally, the paper explores possible paths to these training practices at the risk of his absence to increase the fragility of the school face the transformations derived from TDIC.
