Abstract

The research project Educação, linguagem e práticas leitoras II (Education, language and reading practices II) includes the reading of different contemporary cultural products destined for the childhood. Among the actions of this research is the study of literature books written for children, aiming the identification and the characterization of verbal and visual appeals employed in the constitution of the books and that involves the reader. The objective of this study is to analyze the concepts of classic and adaptation in the book that belongs to the collection of PNBE 2008, Os lusíadas em quadrinhos, composed by the illustrator Fido Nesti, which showed that it was one of the books that the students most looked for in the libraries of the municipal schools of Caxias do Sul (RS). The investigation follows a descriptive propose and uses the inductive method.

Author Biographies

Flávia Brocchetto Ramos, UCS

Doutor e Mestre em Letras pela PUCRS. Especialista em Literatura Brasileira pela PUCRS e graduada em Letras pela UCS. Realizou estágio de pós-doutoramento na FaE/UFMG. Na docência, atuou na Educação Básica e Ensino Médio na rede pública. Atualmente é docente em nível de graduação e pós-gradução (Mestrado e Doutorado) na Universidade de Caxias do Sul. Tem experiência na área de Letras e de Educação, com ênfase em Literatura Infanto-juvenil, focalizando leitura, literatura e escola e mediação de leitura. Autora de artigos em livros e periódicos especializados e também de trabalhos em anais de eventos. Orienta estágios, bolsas de iniciação científica, dissertações de mestrado e teses de doutorado. É avaliadora do Sistema Nacional de Avaliação da Educação Superior - SINAES/INEP/MEC.

Neiva Senaide Petry Panozzo, UCS

possui graduação em Licenciatura Plena Em Educação Artística pela Universidade de Caxias do Sul (1988), mestrado em Educação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2001) e doutorado em Educação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2007). Atualmente é professora do curso de Pedagogia da Universidade de Caxias do Sul. Desenvolve orientação no Programa de Formação de Professores da UCS; atuou no Curso de Artes Visuais e Programa da Universidade da Terceira Idade. No ensino de pós-graduação ministra a disciplina Metodologia do Ensino Superior, Alfabetização e letramentos. Integra a linha de pesquisa do PPGEDU da UCS "Educação, leitura e práticas leitoras"; coordena o projeto de pesquisa "Percurso, memórias e identidades na formação de Pedagogos"; foi colaboradora do GEARTE da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul e Centro de Pesquisa Sociosemiótica da PUCSP. Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em Ensino-Aprendizagem, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: formação de professores, metodologia do ensino superior, alfabetização, leitura, literatura infantil, arte, leitura estético-visual, semiótica discursiva e sincretismo de linguagens.
