Starting from a description of the most recent rise of right-wing groups and their authoritarian ideas and practices, the essay seeks to understand how these practices are organized in a specific way, considering the particular contexts, and how they are intertwined with the challenges imposed by the changes in the capitalist society in recent decades. In particular, the author highlights the perplexity of the ruling classes with the multiple crises that we have been experiencing since 2007.
