Abstract

This experience report presents an interdisciplinary pedagogical intervention carried out in collaboration with second- and third-grade high school students, integrating History, Literature, and the Arts through the design of an Escape Room based on Anne Frank’s diary. The methodological proposal was founded on the principles of active pedagogy and meaningful learning, aiming to foster a critical understanding of the context of the Second World War and the Holocaust. The investigation combined critical reading of the literary work, development of visual materials, and engagement in an interactive simulation. The results evidenced conceptual deepening, the development of critical thinking, and the consolidation of ethical values, confirming the effectiveness of interdisciplinary practices.
