Abstract

This article, produced from the workshop held at the Marista Brasil Managers Meeting in 2024, is centered on the discussion of Educational Management from the perspective of Integral Education and Academic Excellence. Based on Marist education and contemporary educational management references, this article presents multiple dimensions of educational management, such as broad focuses and indicators, addressing challenges and possibilities to ensure comprehensive education, understood as academic excellence, in Marist schools.

Author Biography

Adriana Justin Cerveira Kampff, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil.

PhD in Informatics in Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), in Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil; Master in Computer Science from the same institution. Graduated in Informatics - Bachelor's degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), in Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil. She currently holds the position of Pro-Rector of Undergraduate and Continuing Education at PUCRS. Full Professor at PUCRS, professor of the Graduate Program in Education and the Graduate Program in Education in Science and Mathematics. Member of the Center for Studies in Higher Education and of the ARGOS Research Group - Interdisciplinary Research Group in Digital Education.
