Abstract

This paper aims to present the Franz Hinkelammert’s thesis on secularization of the theology of sacrifice and debt in capitalism. The purpose is to clarify to what extent the sacrificial assumptions are constituted around these theological notions of guilt, law, sin and debt so that they are essentials for building the liberal and neoliberal doctrines.
