The present article proposes to analyze the bioethical principles and the possibility of their application in the scope of the Biolaw. More specifically, after a brief overview of the theory of principles in the legal field, covering the main doctrinal evolutions, it focuses on the principles of bioethics structured by the Principlism that presents the basic principles for human action in the face of a common morality, addressing both its foundations that consecrated the use of the principles in bioethical dilemmas, as well as the criticism that resulted in new proposal of a principle structure. Finally, we discuss the context of this new proposal of bioethical principles founded in Europe, which strengthens the concern with which the coexistence between the human beings and other living beings that collaborate as the life balance, as well as its possible application in Biolaw as a safeguard of human dignity in the ethical and legal issues created by biotechnological advances.
