Abstract

In the New Testament there are used images which make us acknowledge the intimate nature of the Church. One of the most important is that of the Church as Wife and not only a mere image, but as a essential reality indicating something central of its essence and mystery. Therefore it merits a place of greater distinction in theology and in Church’s life. In this second part there is presented a Revelation in the New Testament, namely the New Covenant having as center Christ as the Husband of the Church which emerges and diffuses itself.
