Semont maneuver for cupulolithiasis after vestibular neuritis: a case related <b>[Abstract in English]</b>
Abstract
Objective: The article presents a case of cupulolithiasis after vestibular neuritis. The symptoms and clinical signs presented by the patient were compatible with positional vertigo syndrome and recommended therapeutically by the actual literature was implemented.Results: The failure therapeutical compelled alterations in the treatment, changing the canalith repositioning maneuver for the Semont’s maneuver.
Conclusion: The result proved the necessity of therapeutical adjustments, in accordance with the severity and type of vertigo presented for the patient.
