Abstract
Objective: To observe the tympanometric variations occurred to patients that got SOM which were subjected to corticosteroids treatment by nasal spray and autoinflation maneuver as well.Method: 33 patients that got OMS were observed. All of them were verified by the tympanometry test at the diagnostic week and 15 and 30 days after the treatment.
Result: 42 (63,63%) of the 66 ears verified at the first week presented B type result, 22 (33,33%) presented C type and finally 2 (3,03%) presented A type. On the other hand, at the last evaluation, only 17 ears (25,76%) were still presenting B type, 26 (39,39%) presented C type and 23 (34,85%) presented A type.
