Evidências de Validade Convergente e de Critério para a Escala de Pró-Sociabilidade

Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo reunir evidências de validade baseadas na relação com outras variáveis do tipo convergente e de critério para a Escala de Pró-Sociabilidade (EPS). Participaram da pesquisa 397 adultos, com idades entre 18 e 69 anos (M= 36,88; DP= 12,86), ambos os sexos, de diversas regiões brasileiras. Foram aplicados um questionário sociodemográfico, a Escala de Altruísmo, a Medida de Empatia Cognitiva e Afetiva e a EPS. Observou-se associações significativas entre os escores da EPS com as medidas de altruísmo e empatia. Além disso, foi possível diferenciar grupos quanto ao sexo, quanto a possuir crença religiosa e participar de ações de voluntariado. Os resultados estão em consonância com pesquisas disponíveis na literatura internacional e confirmam as evidências da validade para a EPS.
