Andrew Keen's Aobra (2012) is deeply inspired by Hitchcock, especially in his film Vertigo (which, in Brazil, won the title A body that falls). For the author, the vertigo presented by Hitchcock also reflects the current moment of society. George Orwell's 1984 book, The Trial, by Franz Kafka and Peter Weir's The Truman Show (1998) also serve as references for the development of the author's argument.
