Physiotherapeutic actions in the quality of life of patients with fibromyalgia <b>[Abstract in English]</b>
Abstract
Aims: To review the literature on fibromyalgia and the methods of treatment. Source of data: Published articles were reviewed from Pubmed and Scielo databases. Summary of the findings: The improvements in the quality of life from patients can be attributed to pain and depression control, possibly influenced by improvement on daily activities, body movements, physical capacity and sleep time, including the follow-up with different health professionals. Conclusions: Patients with fibromyalgia require a multidisciplinary team, including medical doctors, physiotherapist, personal trainers and psychologists.
