Abstract

This paper presents, through a movement of reflection and action, a report on the experience of MarisTalks, a pedagogical project that took place at Colégio Marista Assunção, as the result of a didactic sequence in the Humanities Area, with the senior classes of high school, which occurred during the second half of 2019. It points out the context of creation of a didactic sequence and the motivations that led to the construction of this interdisciplinary work, culminating in the structuration of a final product designed between students and educators. It presents MarisTalks, an event inspired by the TED Talks conference, popularly known for presenting, in a movement of synthesis and reflection, an argumentative approach on any topic pertinent to contemporary times. In the case of this project, the topic that mobilized students in the construction of their speeches were the 17 Sustainable Development Goals provided by the United Nations. Methodologically, in addition to the original context of the initiative and its goals, this paper lists the stages of development of the project, its application, the challenges faced in the process and the considerations of the authors about its
conduction, with the necessary theoretical support for the solidity and coherence of the project proposal.
