The constitution of signification in the language by the infant: an enunciative approach on Language Acquisition
Keywords:
Énonciation, Language Acquisition, sémiotique, sémantique.Abstract
My goal in this paper is to analyze the infant’s speech in process of language acquisition, trying to interpret it from an enunciative point of view, and having as theoretical support the Theory of Énonciation, elaborated by Émile Benveniste. For this purpose, I analyze dialogs between infant and adult, suggesting hypothesis that may explain the process of constitution of signification in the infant’s speech through the relation between form and meaning in the sémiotique/sémantique scope of language.Downloads
