Abstract

Eduardo Marciano, character in the book O Encontro Marcado by Fernando Sabino, had a dream: writing a novel. For this would go a long way throughout the literature with authors and their works ever stablished. But to get the creation to his novel, Eduardo Marciano would have to walk a lot more difficult, this would have to take ownership and to dispossess themselves of strong poets, would have to suffer the anxiety of influence and then misread their precursors, through a critical reading and a literary revisionism to then launch themselves as strong poet. Therefore, it is proposed to the theories of Bloom (1995, 2002) examine the route of the Sabino’s character in the struggle for appropriation and expropriation, influence and misreading of the strong to constitute themselves as a writer and write his novel.
