Abstract

As from Poemas dos becos de Goiás e estórias mais, by Cora Coralina, this study proposes an investigation of the representation of the self and the emergence of memorial poems of poet by Goiás. For both, we intend to resume the idea that the materiality or the apparent fixity of space reinforces a relationship of tension between physical and social relations that, in turn, are expressed by imaginary representations. As such, we will cut the poem " Do beco da Vila Rica " and the stories told by Cora Coralina will be analyzed, with the reflection that collective memory and representations of the city through its poetic images.
