According to theories developed by Eric J. Hobsbawm, Benedict Anderson, Michel Foucault, Hugo Achugar, Flávio Kothe, the aim of this study is to verify that in Brazil, during the 19th century, the speech of invention of the nation, homogenizer of identities, blot voices and images of afrobrazilians, in order to maintain the nationalist project. Written by Ferdinand Denis and Gonçalves de Magalhães, the texts analyzed found the Historiography of Brazilian Literature, and, as important source of research, spread out the trace of exclusion.Downloads
