The Labor of Improper and the Affections of Flexibilization

This article aims to discuss the role of labor as a model of recognition, taking into account the criticism about its disciplinary nature. Two movements are here presented: first, the notion of labor on Marx will be reinterpreted from the standpoint not just of the theme of economical spoliation of plus-value, but also from the standpoint of psychic spoliation of estrangement (unheimlichkeit) between subject and object; second, the contemporary modifications in the universe of labour and the modes of psychic suffering associated of it will be interpreted upon the social impact of such another form of spoliation.
