Abstract

Typical modes of appropriation of mass communication products seek to identify some of the characteristic ways in which communicative products are received and used by people. Thus, through the methodology of interpretation, focused by John B. Thompson (1995) on Ideology and Modern Culture, we will focus on interpretation in the following aspects: separate means of structure and content, skills with the medium, how the medium relates to Young people's practices in relation to the media, activities that they maintain with the environment, the way the media is received and used by the youth through the plurality of assistance and / or repetition, and the technology altering and / or interfering in the process of appropriation By the young people surveyed.
